Leading Together.
Advocating with Purpose.
The Pennsylvania Alliance of Advanced Practice Leaders (PAAPL) is a collaborative forum of healthcare leaders dedicated to advancing the role, impact, and sustainability of advanced practice providers (APPs) across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
PAAPL brings together leaders from across the state—representing nurse practitioners (CRNPs), physician assistants (PAs), certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), and certified nurse midwives (CNMs)—to foster innovation, advocate for supportive policy, and drive excellence in Advanced Practice Providers practice and leadership. Our members serve in health systems, academic centers, and community-based organizations, working collectively to shape the future of healthcare delivery in Pennsylvania.
PAAPL provides a unified voice on issues impacting the Advanced Practice Providers workforce, facilitates cross-organizational collaboration, and creates pathways for leadership development and mentorship. Through active engagement with state and national partners, we work to ensure that Advanced Practice Providers are empowered to practice to the full extent of their education and training—improving access, quality, and outcomes for patients across the Commonwealth.
Our Mission
The mission of The Pennsylvania Alliance of Advanced Practice (AP) Leaders is to support an organization composed of a select interprofessional group of certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP), certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA), physician assistant (PA-C), and certified nurse midwifery (CNM) leaders from health care entities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to collaborate, advise, participate, and lead on all matters related to the advanced practice provider workforce.
Our Vision
The Pennsylvania Alliance of Advanced Practice (AP) Leaders will be a collaborative forum, unified in purpose to provide leadership and advocacy, cultivate excellence, and drive innovation and high-quality care for the Commonwealth.
